OMG what the hell is wrong with Indonesians?! Seriously, I've been to NUMEROUS weddings (you all know I get invited to about AT LEAST 20 weddings each year XD) like yesterday, I went to one, and they used Utada Hikaru's FIRST LOVE as a theme song... AGAIN!!!!!!!

HELLO IDIOTS!!!!

FIRST LOVE IS *NOT* A WEDDING SONG!!!

I don't get how people can just anyhow toss in a song with lyrics that they probably don't understand most of, and just by the 0.00001% english verses that they DO understand: "You are always gonna be my love... I'll remember to love, you taught me how... You are always gonna be the one..." ...they assume immediately that OH it describes two people united in a wedding matrimony PERFECTLY!!!!

YIKES! WHAT A BOO-BOO!!!!!!

Seriously, I don't understand how people can be soooo IGNORANT and CARELESS when it comes to their own weddings' music!!!! If I were getting married, I'd probably HANDPICK all the songs that is to be played in my wedding PERSONALLY and even crosscheck all the lyrics LINE BY LINE!!!! Anal, yes... but to me, it's a huge big deal when you play a song that expresses mourning or crying over an unforgettable unrequited love of one's life who is NOT the person you're marrying! Like WTF?!

I'm gonna go with Takki's Juunigatsu no Hana... which is already CERTIFIED and stamped USDA APPROVED (LOL)... WEDDING SONG! XD ...not that I'm getting married anytime soon haha.

Yeah, a lot of people think that it is a love song coz of the english lines but it is actually a really kanashii song. I usually get a *heartpinch* listening to this song but I do love it so much.

Well, atleast you haven't gone to a wedding which played Joe Jackson's "BE MY NUMBER 2" or Kalapana's "HURT" coz I have XD XD XD

Thank goodness, for me, I checked & triple checked my own music, la! lolz When I got married, for our 'first dance' (toward the end of our wedding), we danced to Celine Dion's (from album All The Way_A Decade of Song) 'All The Way' sung by Celine & Frank Sinatra. But, the song I chose for our slideshow (pics we chose as a couple together; shows how we met) was from another Celine Dion album 'The Colour Of My Love'. It totally fit us together becuz he majored in Fine Arts/Graphic Design so, the lyrics matched what I wanted to convey how I felt about him.

Now when I think about it, I wished I chose 'The First Time I Ever Saw Your Face' by Celine Dion's "All The Way_A Decade of Song" album. It's such a REALLY kireii song, one I'd choose if I'd EVER get to meet Takki in person. That's one of my songs I'd dedicate to him. *sigh* LOL It's a slow one, but when you listen to the lyrics, it made me cry when I first heard it. XDD
