And to think that just several days before the release date I was staring at my open order page at CDJapan contemplating to CANCEL my Satomi Hakkenden DVD because it's abnormally expensive :v-$$$::v-$$$::v-$$$: Remind me to kiss Ami for telling me that I should *NOT* cancel the order! LOL!

I didn't even know what comes with the First Press / Limited Edition DVD box, so if you're wondering, it actually comes with a bonus KEITAI STRAP :v-keitai: and the strap is in the form of the Satomi Hakkenshi's enchanted beads, it's actually kinda pretty, the crystal clear bead with the kanji character on it... I actually got Inukawa Sousuke (Satou Ryuta)'s character (=.=;) Zannen... but dude... it would take quite a lot of LUCK :v-bling: to be able to score Takki's character!!! Since it's like ONE random chance out of EIGHT possibilities *CRIES*... and it's not like you can buy multiple DVDs to better your chances, considering IT'S FREAKIN HELL EXPENSIVE!!!! :v-$$$::v-$$$::v-$$$:

The DVD comes also with this panorama folded photo booklet featuring most of the main characters (good and bad) in the dorama. It's really pretty :v-heart: So yeah, if any of you wondering what the DVD comes with... it comes with those two stuff, and of course...

I swear, I *LOVE* the cast of Satomi Hakkenden!!! They're all on CRACK!!! =D I fell in love with all of them the first time when I watched them play all those silly games in the TBS Tokyo Friend Park Special for Satomi Hakkenden :P Even during the Satomi Hakkenden press conference they were on crack!!! HAR HAR HAR... I CANNOT BELIEVE THE EVIL EVIL EVIL CAST MADE OZAWA YUKIYOSHI ACT OUT HIS LITTLE FIRE-SUMMONING MOVES *AT THE PRESS CONFERENCE* AND HE WAS LIKE, HUFFING AND PUFFING AND EVEN YELLED OUT THAT LOUD :v-fire:「ダッッッッー！！！！」 :v-fire: with an embarrassed and giggling Kanno Miho holding the microphone for him BUHAHHAHAHAHAAAA, and then they pan to the seats of the other cast members, we have (Yamada) Yuu-chan with her head down the table and she's like totally laughing with her face under the table or something and Katsuji Ryo's face looks literally like this :v-right: XD BUHAHAHHAHAHAHHH!!!! WTFFFFFF THESE ARE THE SATOMI HAKKENSHI??? OMG HAHAHHAHAHAA this Oshio Manabu!!! :v-jdig: :D He's always the one who does all this!!! Like Oshio Manabu also suddenly brought up the subject about Shoei's character (Kobungo) who also does these really huge loud 「ウォッッッー！！！」 and he said that it was so loud and it sounds like it really EXPLODED from under his belly or something and he said again KANNO MIHO would like to hear Shoei do it!!!! :v-jdig: *DIES* OMG... when Oshio Manabu did the same thing to Ozawa Yukiyoshi, he used the same exact excuse!!! He said Kanno Miho wanted to see what it's like! WHAT IS UP WITH EVERYONE USING KANNO MIHO AS THE REASON FOR EVERYTHING!!!! LMAO!!!!! EVIL!!! >=) Shoei got so embarrassed and he's like what? I have to do it? But how to... eeh... er... *LOLLLLL* SO FUNNY!!! And then he starts introducing himself then he noticed Kanno Miho is laughing so hard at the side there and he's like, eh Kanno-san why are you laughing? LOOOOL!!!! XD

Actually I really like Kanno Miho, I like her so much more than I like Nakama Yukie and for some reason I'm a little glad she's not in the press conference! LOL! =D Months before this, ami and I were watching few excerpts from Satomi Hakkenden and we were TOTALLY CREEPED OUT =O by Kanno Miho's character Tamazusa! SERIOUSLY!!! KOWAI JYAN!!!! =O We even said once that since Kanno Miho is capable of being so SCARY, she's actually so PERFECT to play Hatsumomo in Memoirs of a Geisha (if they're ever gonna revise the cast into using real Japanese actresses, I mean!) XD AND OH SO BERY SHOCK when Kanno Miho actually talked in the press conference, I was like... (oro) DUDE... she's actually really sweet and soft and ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like that scary Tamazusa! LMAOOOOOOO!!! Are these two same people I'm looking at? Tamazusa and the real Kanno Miho? Kudos to Kanno Miho, she's a really good actress, well judging from her performance in Satomi Hakkenden, that is :P

I'm actually surprised that MOST OF THE CAST have never done period dramas before! Oshio Manabu was like, "I've never done a period drama before." Then Satou Ryuta says the same thing, then Shoei, then Yamada Yuu, then Katsuji Ryo. LOL! *pats Takki* You're such a young actor and already you have quite a number of period pieces in your resume! :v-kiss:

AND THEN... there's this one part of the shoot that just totally *KILLED* me =D=D=D=D=D *DIES LAUGHING* :v-skull: It was during one of the scenes in the beginning when Shino was fighting with Aboshi, and Hamaji comes running to stop them from fighting! So Ayase Haruka (Hamaji) comes running into the scene and tells Aboshi to stop, but she does it in this really weird pose....

Notice the yellow arrow? I didn't add the arrow actually, it was on the DVD, to show exactly what was the focus of this part *LOL*...

The director yelled, "CUT!" and OMG the moment he yelled CUT, Takki's face immediately broke into this AMUSED SMILE omg like one frame ago he was still all serious in his scene and turns out all this time he already noticed Ayase Haruka's funny hand pose and probably already has all these mischievous things running inside his head except that he could STILL manage to pull a straight face!!!

Seriously, this additional DVD is just soooo cute :v-beat: This one small part totally just KILLED me! If only I could reach into the monitor and just GRAB HIM and *SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE HIM* HOW CAN YOU BE SO EVIL AND YET SOOOO ADORABLEEEEEEEE!!!! :v-beat::v-beat::v-beat:

Oh my god seriously this tokuten special making of DVD is actually 47 minutes long and despite there's so much castmembers but seriously, SO MUCH TAKKIIIIIII!!! It's almost like getting an actual TAKKI-ONLY DVD :v-heart: Like, he gets the longest interviews included, and the action coverage, wire action etc, all has Takki demonstrating them, it's super awesome! And they included everything from Satou Ryuta's camera when he goes around the set interviewing the cast and just shooting everything around him OMG CRACKPOT CAST!!!! :v-heart: THEY ARE SOOOOO FUNNYYYYY!!! :v-bomb:

Great... now when I watch the DVD I'll never be able to see them the same way again!!! =D

If you actually have sufficient funds and is wondering whether the DVD is worth it... LOL, GET IT! IT'S TOTALLY WORTH EVERY FREAKIN' PENNY! It's awesome!!!! :v-heart:

lol seeing your post i really couldn't resist and i've ordered the dvd ^^ i'm so sad i can't buy the Yoshitsune dvd so i really wanted something with Takki (and i love SatoKen) so thank you for convincing me to buy it (without knowing it :p)

i'll try to rip out this part for you guys and upload it... i ripped it out already but the software i used is not so good so the scenes are very choppy and miss a lot of frames T_T so I'll try to do it again later when i'm at home.....

Nere, I received the dvd yesterday, and watched all 3 disc non stop last till 2am in the morning. I got the same keitai strap as you are, Inoukawa's character...:'( Kept laughing a lot & smiling silly watching Takki in all those behind the scenes, impossible to believe his 24 years old now with that baka attitude....hhhmmmhhhh....hugs Takki. Anyway, in disc 1, at the end (ending) when they re-run some previous scenes with the instrumental music, I noticed a part that I missed & didn't see it played at the disc...the one when Takki & Ayase looked like sitting in a flower garden with the sunset/orange colour sky behind them. I don't remember watched this scene before, is it a deleted scene, do you notice it ?

Lately I sometimes worry for him, if he isn't lonely Oo cause he've said so not so long ago, that sometimes he feels lonely. So wherever I see him happy (and fo example when he doesn't remember his own birthday because of Enbujo xD), I'm worried less.

sorry...my mistake, when I checked again the missing scene I mentioned about, it was the scene when Takki/Shino together with Hayase prayed at Shino's father of cemetery. hehehhehe, can't help it, just watched again the film last night....& still holding my breath if I see Takki smiled, especially when Hayase/Hajime just declared her love to him at flower garden, hmmmm....his smile so boyish ne....:))
