WHAT??!!!!! I came online after watching American Idol rerun all la-dee-daa and suddenly got smacked in the face by this HORRID NEWS????? Holy shit Takizawa Enbujou caught fire OMGWTFFF HOW COULD SUCH A HORRIBLE THING HAPPEN TO ENBUJOUUUUU!!!!! Noooooooo!!!! Takkiiiiii!!!!

OMG Takkiiiiiiiiiii----- your baby, Enbujou!!!! I hope everything will turn out okay for the rest of the shows!!! Takki ganbareeee!!! Everyone in the castle too, ganbareeee!!!

Basically, during the fire tricks halfway through Enbujou, the flames or flickers or something kinda strayed from the fireproof sheet and fell and started fire in the backstage props, costume area. The fire was at the basement I think. Thankfully it didn't get too serious, however there are several people who suffered minor injuries. But most importantly, TAKIZAWA HIDEAKI IS SAFE AND OKAY WITHOUT A SCRATCH OR BURN.

I read a fan who attended the show said that there was like quite a lot of smoke coming out from backstage and everyone started getting worried, and all the smoke started clouding the performance. Then not long after that, the fire department were all over the place and they were all evacuated around 7:30ish... (the show started at 6) Some of the fans who were sitting at the front rows (before evacuation) said they could hear Takki's voice yelling about backstage.

So yeah... I reckon the show didn't make it to the end for tonight. And supposedly tomorrow's show is cancelled for safety reasons. And a statement will be issued soon too on whether or not they will continue the staging of Takizawa Enbujou, or if they will be doing money refunds or anything like that

Okay... I guess we'll just hang in tight together for more news tomorrow or something For those of you who have plans to attend Takizawa Enbujou, keep your fingers crossed and just PRAY (and also don't forget to say thank you to God that Takki is okay!)

Omigod! Seriously?! There were even minor injuries?! I'm glad Takki is OK! ^^;;; Yokatta na~ But I really wonder what's going to happen to Enbujou! I hope it doesn't get cancelled or anything. O___o;; Cancellation would be really tragic. But the fire is already really tragic.

OMGGG....teh most important thing is that Takki is still safe and okay as you mentioned. And the fans are not injured severely or anything. Gahh..it is pretty understandable that Takki is yelling at the backstage....as he is a very professional performer and his shows and performances seldom go wrong.... Even tho I don't have the chance to go to the Enbujou thing...I hope it isn't cancelled....it will be v.v. devastating...and imagine how Takki will feel....*sobs*

Nere, I just read on LJ that the shows on the 23rd are cancelled and Enbujou will restart on the 25th. So it's not getting cancelled! Yokatta~ I hope they make sure it's safe this time!!!

are you sure... coz both cynthia and i read in the news articles about them announcing whether they will give out refunds and stuff, meaning they still haven't come to a decision yet???

this is what it says on SPONICHI:

２３日は安全確認のため公演を中止し、２５日以降の予定や演出を変更するかどうかは今後検討する方針。

Or did they just decided in the last 10 minutes???? then again if they are commencing shows on the 25th then yokatta. but i'm gonna wait on OFFICIAL STATEMENTS. gw suka rada2 ga percaya sama apa2 yg ditulis sama org2 di LJ gitu loh.

i was so shocked when i first saw this news... damn~ i am so thankful that everyone is fine esp. Takki except for the people who got injured...

for sure, they'll continue this prolly change of dates... cause many people will not actually protest but yeah something like that... they would prolly just change of dates... [^-^] and we all know Takki did so much upon preparing for this... so i think they wouldn't let that go to waste as well...

but i am so thankful that Takki is FINE...

I think the stage construction itself is very complicated and is custom-constructed for the scenes and everything... the wireworks, etc... took really long to prepare in Shinbashi Enbujou. To move to another place requires another massive extensive setting up. Can't be done just like that instantly LOLLLL~ "THAT WOMAN"'s clothes and props alone probably already need A TRUCK to carry HAHAHAHAAA
