WTF KIND OF SHOW IS THIS?????
It starts at 6:15PM and ends at 9:45PM?????
Duuuude that's like... 3.5 HOURS!!! THAT'S FREAKIN' LONG!!!!!!!!!
And even thought it might have dragged a little bit longer than it should be since it's the first day and first show ever but the standard duration for Takizawa Enbujou was supposed to be 3 hours and 15 minutes or something
That's...... heavenly LONG to be watching Takki perform
Oh... okay... there's a 30 minute intermission to go eat MENTAKKI or TAKKI-RICE or something hahahahah
Cyn told me that her tickets came with some discount coupon to eat in this restaurant inside the Shinbashi Enbujou which will be selling food related to the actors or the play or something
I have noooo idea what kind of food they're selling and what they named it exactly
The show consists of 3 parts, whereas according to that diary page of the Enbujou performer it consists of: ① Japanese History & legends, ② Yoshitsune, ③ Tackey's World. From what I've read in fans' reports, the first part was all the history, legend, folklore, all the music, dancing, the onnagata...
I'm not too educated on Japanese history and folklore, but there was 「山寺の和尚さん」 (Yamadera no oshou-san = The Monk in the mountain temple), which is supposedly some old folksong or something. Then 「四十七士」 (Forty-seven warriors?) This is probably another folklore and I have no idea what it is..... and then there's also 「白虎隊」(Byakkotai = White Tiger Brigade?)... which is a historical story/legend about 19 young samurai boys who were serving the Aizu daimyo shogun, and it is a tragic story because the 19 young samurai boys all committed harakiri for the honor of their master or something
Eeks... creepy. Then there's 「七変化」(Shichihenge = 7 changes?)... Gojyou bridge... all that Japanese splendour brouhaha.
Almost everyone was more in awe at the bungee and flying parts though... they said it's kinda like Dream Boy's, but better and more flips and all... just... more SUBARASHII is the word
A lot of people said the onnagata part was simply beautiful... but nobody went on and on about onnagata though, so it wasn't the highlight of the show I guess. I read one report that said Takki looked just like... Takki
*LOL*... She said 「女ぽっくではなく」 hahahaaa so not really very onna-ppoi (woman-like), but nonetheless, he still danced very beautifully in his humongous geisha-like kimono (I hope it's not that gaudy purple kimono at the Ya-ya-yah end credits because both Cathy and I think it looks kinda DASAI!)
And then there's some MASK thingy going on???
I'm not sure what it is but from the sound of it, it kinda sounds like the Chinese Face-Changing show
Something about changing masks about 10 times? I'll just keep scouting the evil-you-know-where for photos and goods.....
The second part comes after intermission, and is the Yoshitsune story. This part is a play. A real play, with dialogues and all. Ancient dialogues too
*DIES* As if I'm not already

watching taiga dorama even though I could pause and rewind! LOL! No pause or rewind button for Enbujou yoooo~~~
Third part is SHOWTIME
Hohohoho I knew they'd have a showtime!
Yayyyy!!! All I know is that he sang Serenade, Diamond and Venus!!!! OMG
DIAMOND AND VENUS
SHEEEEEEEEET!!!!!

It sounds like such a great show though... what interests me the most is the first part, all that Japanese history and legend and folklores....
Wow... they actually did it ne... Takki, Yoko, Ohkura, Ya-ya-yah, A.B.C., Kis-my-ft, the entire Enbujou cast...!!!!
Congratulations on your first show!!!!
You know, one particular passage I managed to catch in that Enbujou performer's diary, that he actually applauded Takki's ability as an entertainer. He said that Takki is able to memorize everything so quick! The lines, the songs, the dance moves particularly~ ahhh Takki YOU wa sugoi entertainer desu ne~ I'm so proud of you

(Mother complex is back)
OMG FOUND ONE PAMPHLET LISTING!!!!

Found more photos...

The cover is sooo prettyyyy
o

"That woman" still looks like Takki though... no matter what I guess we'll always see Takki... but wow... look at all that difference!!!
He looks all ROARRRRR

MALE as Takizawa Hideaki, and suddenly he's a pretty pretty woman under all that make up, wig, and headpiece!!!!
Takizawa Hideaki, I seriously salute you for doing this! It takes such a big man to do such a thing!
I also like how they put two different styles Takkis side by side... modern-style Takki and traditional-style Takki.
And I found some postcards too.... I found 2 sets actually, one set is Yoko & Ohkura and another is for A.B.C and Kis-my-ft

5 sets - 2 sets = 3 unknown sets

I wonder if it's another set for Ya-ya-yah and the rest of the juniors, and then Takki gets the rest of the 2 sets

I have noooo ideaaaaa right now~ GRRRRRRRRRRR why aren't people selling the Takki postcards on auctions yet
(Wait, I should be happy that no one is selling off his postcards desho?) LOL! BUT I NEED TO KNOWWWWW!!!! (Obsessive-compulsive mode: on)
