A friend told me that Jackie Chan is in Tokyo right now for the opening premiere of his movie THE MYTH (in which, a lot of people keep saying that it sucked so I never wasted my on it)

Supposedly, Takizawa Hideaki will be attending the premiere too as a guest (since he's now friends with Jackie Chan LOL ---ahh I should be proud of him but but but... see footnote) and most probably Takki will be presenting flowers to Jackie Chan too at the end of the screening. But I'm not sure... coz it didn't happen yet, it's still just hearsay. It's gonna take place later on today (March 2, 2006) at 18:15 JST (that's about less than 3 hours from now) at the Odaiba Cinema Mediage

To be honest... any Jackie & Tackie get-togethers makes me very nervous. Because everytime they get together most probably means that they will talk about that supposed "new project" (I have no idea if it's happening or not) and you know how I feel about Takki going to Hollywood -.-

Hmmm... I have a feeling Jackie Chan will go see Endless Shock too. Tsubasa already started on Endless Shock. If Takki shows up to Endless Shock with Jackie Chan........... *DIES*....

Apparently, according to Nikkansports, the "Jackie & Tackie" movie is "on the way" Do note the word they used (even in Japanese words in the article), it doesn't say "in planning progress" or anything but "on the way" Hmmm... very vague *sigh of relief*

And then... this is the most LOL-est part HAHAHAHAHAHH ...Jackie Chan jokingly proposed a scenario for their movie. Jackie Chan said,

JACKIE CHAN EBILLLLL!!!!

And Takki was like, Sore wa nai desu yoooo~~~ Ahahahahaaa but frankly Takki, I think I'd rather go with that plot, so that you're too busy fighting the war to death than to be kissing some Korean actress, or worse... ANY ONE OF THE GIRLS FROM TWINS So yeah Jackie Channnn... I actually support your proposal BUHAHAHAHAHAH~ Jackie Chan can be the evil tyrant casanova king, and Takki be his workaholic war general hero who's always fighting wars to death (but NEVER DIES!) and has no time for GIRLS!!!! (It's about time Jackie passed his hero cloak to someone else right)

oh speaking of Takki staying in Japan... did I tell you that I read in TopStage, Johnny actually first proposed some ideas for the musical, Takki had a choice between doing Enbujou, or a musical in LAS VEGAS (*MAJOR SWEATDROP*---imagine Showgirl Takki, or Siegfried & Roy Takki ^^;;;;)... but Takki chose to stay in Japan. For now. Good boy. ~Arf!

I think you did mention it in some entry before that he was given the option to go VEGAS. That is so flattering coz JOHNNY-san was so willing to cash out for a Takizawa show in Vegas. Good thing though that Tackey opted to have this ENBUJOU instead. I think bringing the musical to VEGAS, not many people would truly understand much of it. Like if Tackey does the Yoshi bit, the audience would probably go "DUH????" over some cocktails so better in EMBUJOU coz the peeps would appreciate it more.

JACKIE Chan's presence in Japan is not makin me at ease at all too. I know he means well but I just dun want TACKEY (or TSUBA) to be hollywood-ized. Hollywood's got too many shady characters for TxT to mingle with. Id take my chances with HK's TWINS than with the OLSEN TWINS and Dakota Fanning! XD XD XD

actually my worry is NOT that takki won't go back to japan. takki is japanese and for sure he LOVES his culture and is proud to be japanese, so he will not forget japan. i just think that if he goes to hollywood, it'll be quite an obstacle for the big hollywood executives/actors/stars etc etc to actually TAKE HIM SERIOUSLY as a true hardworking actor/performer/entertainer, you know? it will be veeeery hard on him. lol. they didn't specifically already specify "ENBUJOU" when they first talked about it. It's either a LAS VEGAS musical or a JAPANESE musical, and he chose Japan because he said that he feels the need to stay in Japan still, he wants to master more in the Japanese traditional performing arts and all. More in the "JAPAN" style theme. Since he already got a headstart in Yoshitsune..... this is also why I can say that you don't have to worry about him forgetting Japan if he goes to Hollywood. It'll never happen. Trust me.

Photos you mean the macau hotel opening photos? Venus event photos? I have like a huge brick-sized stack of em sitting in Cynthia's room to be mailed to me LOL... yeah I've seen em. All hundreds of em LOL XD I could make an animated gif out of em, supposedly XD

Just about my drift NERE-chan. Japanese and American forms of entertainment are way too different. Like if somebody dons a kimono and puts on makeup the way Tackey does, it would be taken in totally different context in the US (well, atleast majority would take it differently). Plus it's a dog eat dog world out there. He will not be spared of insults and the unkind words that may be thrown his way. Its a part of the harshness called Hollywood which he has to live with once he takes that step. Call me crazy for overly analyzing this again but HOLLYWOOD does change people. Fortunate if it takes a turn for the better but really hard if it turns for the worse. So yes, I admit, I am also VERY, VERY afraid that HOLLYWOOD could change Tackey as I am already loving the way he is now. And i really dun want him to go through disappointments. I would NOT be able to bring myself to see him go through it. I couldn't even bear the thought. I just have the feeling that keeping Tackey out of Hollywood would really be a really good choice right now. He's smart enough to know this too so Im proud that he just made the right choice ^_^

Again im babbling here and getting ahead of things when we are just talking about 1 movie with Jackie Chan demo i am but a Tackey fan who cant help but to fuss and to get worried about these things.

Ahhh, yappari....I feel the same way. But then again, about the whole Hollywood thing...it really would be an extremely extremely rare occurance for that to happen in the first place. If Johnny decided to release this movie in America, it would be difficult because of the past successes of asian starts who brought their talents over here and tried to make it. Of course, Jackie Chan would change the whole scenario...but this sounds like a movie that will NOT be created for an English-speaking audience. Bringing movies to an American audience takes sooooooooooo much $$$$$$$$ and there are so many flops that are constantly just being ground through the market. I think it'd be difficult to convince the Big Hollywood Guys to release this movie, no?

And yeah...even if it DID go through, there is not a doubt in my mind Takki will not be sucked into Hollywood. Ever. Takki, from everything I've seen, is just not cut out for American audiences, in the sense that he is NOT like Americans and that, as Nere said, Japan is his home. I can't imagine Takki with a champagne glass chatting idly with Brad Pitt or something. I think...well, personally, I think America would SCARE poor Takki and he'd want to go back to Japan as soon as he possibly could. XD

Hmm. If it DID happen though, it would be...well my thoughts would be the release in America would be postponed until after the asian release. Because the Hollywood execs would want to hear about its success in asia, and if it did well and they thought it would be suitable for an american audience, then they would maybe try. So it's a mixed bag.....the idea of going to an American movie theatre in my city and seeing Takki is mind-blowingly awesome, but then again the thought of merciless reviews, stupid american fangirls fawning over Takki as the new flavour of the week, etc is depressing. vv;

UGH yesireeee Jackey Chan STAY AWAY from TXT. If Jackey takes takki to Hollywood it be doing sth like Rush Hour 4/5 and Takki be most likely the baddie so cliche like Zhang Ziyi picked for the baddie. It sucks~ mostly all the japanese actors that gets picked to act in HK movies all end up as bad guys. I remember Takeshi Sorimachi's one and the one in Gen X, he was a baddie too.
