OMG I have to like run out VERY SOON but I'm like spazzing all over the place coz Cathy and tako were helping me read the Yahoo!HK articles coz I'm too spazzed to focus and understand chinese right now(!)(!)(!)

AND WHY IS ONE OF HIS PHOTO LOOK SO *STIFF*!!!!! LOLLL!!! HELLO TAKKI THAT IS SOOO NOT AN IDOL POSEEEE!!!! =D Cathy is all like, is Takki trying to imitate the building behind him??? LOLLLLL!!!!!! Tako is saying to me right now (which I agree completely) despite JE is sooooo evil too but their idols are still so pureeeee~~~ and that's what I think of Takki too... I mean compared to other stars... he really works hard for his career and not act like he's all the way up there in the stars and looks down upon commoners (his fans), NO. Nor does he act stuck up or diva like Hollywood stars, or even sometimes other Asian stars too! I don't want Hollywood's extravagant and dangerous lifestyle to CORRUPT that pureness! Seriously I don't!!!!!! Like I'm sooooo proud of him for this breakthrough, and I KNEW IT that he would be loved INSTANTLY by Jackie Chan (Like who wouldn't see Takki and go "awwwwwwww he's soooo cuteeee!")??? Yeah yeah Sanspo also said that because Takki has good dancing abilities it will do very good for ACTION SCENES!!! (Well, we've certainly witnessed that in Satomi Hakkenden, didn't we?) :v-heart: Takki says that Jackie Chan is always so funny and genki in his movies, and he's just like that in real life. Jackie says Takki is very kirei and "HANDSOME BOY" :v-heart::v-heart::v-heart::v-heart:

But seriously... nothing in Sanspo indicates anything official. It's all based on words spouting out of Jackie's mouth, which really COULD BE just small talk, I don't know. I refuse to spazz more on this until something has been signed and OFFICIALLY announced!!!! :P Although if it's small talk I would wanna cuddle Takki coz I know he'd be disappointed... I know how much he wants to work with Jackie Chan!!!!

BUT AHHHHHHHHH I'M SERIOUSLY NOT READY TO SHARE TAKKI WITH THE REST OF THE WORLDDDDDD(!) I'm such a bad selfish fan!!!! :v-heartbreak:

Ahhh anyway *DIES* I have to run off already but ahhh *types faster so I don't forget* Takki met the fans on a boat, the fans gave him a jacket and the jacket is SHANGHAI TANG :v-$$$::v-$$$::v-$$$: And when he got the jacket (it's a Chinese-style jacket), Takki stripped his jacket immediately and put it on and created a massive wave of screeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaamssssssssss~~~~~~~

Btw, supposedly there's news about the hotel opening in Reuters too and there's a photo of the ribbon ceremony and Takki is standing next to Jackie Chan~ Sugoi ne~~~~ I have to search for that later.... I'm sure this news is all over entertainment news here and there... so just browse around people~ :v-pointup:

I heard about this news via LJ and I'm in a mix of emotions about this. On one hand I am immensely immensely happy and proud of him - this may mark a new milestone in his career - and I think he more than deserves the international exposure.

But on the other hand...yeah. It's sort of taking him away from TakiTsuba activities, again. But since it says showing internationally NEXT YEAR, I'm hoping they'll adopt a slower pace to filming.

Guess we'll just have to wait around for confirmation on paper and ink.

And oh, thanks for the Yahoo!HK news links. ^.^

Hah, I also read this on LJ, and yeah, this sounds quite interesting. I think this really cements the fact that he's building up a name for himself (though some may argue that he's really following Takuya Kimura's footsteps--consider 2046, for one), and I think this exposure would really help build his international fanbase, though I'm not sure how some of you would react to that. ^^;

Buut, I'm not really fond of Jackie Chan movies (well, I'm a fan before, but meh) and, ditto with Mouse-- this would take him from TakiTsuba activities which would suck majorly. About the name-- Jackie and Tackie? *cue hysterical laughter here* Doesn't really fit well with me.

As always though, we'd have to wait for official confirmation from Johnny and Jackie (woot, it rhymes too!). Until then, let's keep our fingers crossed.

I'm trying to remember when there was some big publicity...Jackie Chan & Koichi Domoto met up like a year or more ago, and at that time Jackie also expressed wanting to work with Koichi on something. Lots of photos and clips of that meeting, but nothing came of it in the end.

This time it sounds a lot more serious though...?

Apparently, according to user lain7 on LJ, there was a glitch on the article translation-- it now seemed that Andy Lau and Jacky Cheung only attended the opening of the hotel, and no mention of them joining this movie.

Now if this was true, I have to admit that I'm now getting worried. This may end up horribly-- just think of Jackie Chan's latest movie with his son. Meh. :/

last time when i was watching jackie chan's movie in the cinema....it did cross my mind once that when will i get to see takki's acting with jackie chan in a cinema.....not just through tv....i mean in a hong kong-japanese coorporation film....not hollywood film and we'll be so proud of him....never thought that it really happen (if what the newspaper says is true) lol....

Ohhhhhh.... a little relieved... cause I'm WORRIED!!! Worried like hell! They're taking Takki into evil Holywood no no no no.... what with duet? I've got really bad feelings about it... I'm in shock... I know it's good for him, but I don't want him to be a star that everydnoy knows and stuff... I'm ugly, I know... but... really... I';m worried soooooo much.
