Who would've thought cuddly wuddly big teary anime eyes that melts you into this puddle of ooze could actually EXIST in real life If you read Azrael's editorials in Outpostnine, he nicknamed one of his students as "Ultimate Sweetness" and he describes her cuteness to be so extreme that it has this artery-clogging effects that could cause instant coronary heart attack and sudden death of heart explosion or something Oh duuuuude... I think I almost squished the magazine and myself to death when I opened the TV Pia page and saw one Hamtaro-Yoshitsune staring right at me with those cuddly wuddly eyes!!!

I've been meaning to talk about Yoshitsune but never got a chance...

...well, not really never got a chance but more like, I keep getting distracted by other things in relation to Takki I just have to say that I am extremely impressed at Ishihara Satomi's acting (hears aki screaming in the background: "WHO THE HECK ARE YOU AND WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH NERE!!!!") But no, seriously... honestly speaking, I've never really liked Ishihara Satomi, not because I'm biased because she gets to act with Takki, NO. I just never really liked the way her face looked. Like those too cutesy-wutesy face and the super humongous lips, she *IS* very pretty but hey, I dislike ya I dislike lah. It's just the way it is! (this would be your cue to NOT post a comment about how I shouldn't dislike her because she's a great actress and she's all this and that and blah blah blah ) I absolutely have no more doubts about her acting abilities because she reallllllyyyy impressed me with her performance in Episode 46: Shizu ya shizu

It was such a tragic episode though Tsugunobu died (looking like the baddest-ass hair day that could ever happen to any members of the Yoshitsune cast; thus... uh... not a very graceful way to die yo~ ^^) In the previous episode though, Shizuka (Ishihara), who is the love of Yoshitsune's life was being escorted across the country when they were ambushed and she was taken captive to Kamakura (where Yoritomo , Yoshitsune's brother reigns supreme--sort of) And later on they found out that Shizuka was pregnant. And it was decided that they will let Shizuka bear her child, but only if it was a baby girl that the baby was allowed to live. A baby boy would mean only death

To make things short, let's just say... nor Shizuka or Yoshitsune ever got to see their love child

Btw, I'm trying sooooooo hard not to think about the asdfghjkl fact that since there was a BABY... it means that Yoshitsune Takki and Shizuka Satomi BOINKED! I know, I know, it never happened but STILL!!!! asdfghjkl!@#$%^&*()_+}/~

And when Shizuka woke up after such a long hard labor, she found no baby and she just absolutely FREAKED OUT when she realized what had happened And what happens next actually made me kinda cringe as I was watching because I could almost truly BELIEVE she was in such a painful agonizing emotional torture when she clawed her way out of the chamber where she was sleeping and clawed up to Masako (Yoritomo's wife)'s foot and... let's just say it wasn't a very pretty picture

And what really stood out was the fact that in these close-to-end episodes, Shizuka's eyes really looked very sad and often lifeless and blank Sooooo different from when she first started~ genki and very spirited (Oh btw, she lost weight too *LOL* but this is totally irrelevant~) And when she danced in front of Yoritomo... about her love and adoration of Yoshitsune, it's almost as if you can hear a very loud cracking *SLAP* across Yoritomo's face! Uwahahahaha! Dude... I really *HAAAAATE* Yoritomo! Grrrr Banzai Shizuka!!!!

Anyway, that was Shizuka~ now let's move on to Benkei, OMG Benkei!!!

In last week's episode, I witnessed what seemed so sad and tragic at first, but everytime I look back and think about it, it seems sooooooo okashii and funny! Ahhh my mind keeps running 1001 versions of dialogue parodies for that scene!!! It was the scene where Yoshitsune's yamabushi disguise was almost discovered because this guy (some nobleman) spotted a flute slipped in Yoshitsune's belt, which was Shizuka's flute, and basically it's like his takaramono treasure now since he's separated from Shizuka and there's this huge big possibility he'll never see his honey again But supposedly I guess being yamabushi, he's not supposed to have such a fancy flute in possession or something and so it brought upon the suspicion that he's NOT really a yamabushi....

And how does Benkei save the day? By:

①Scolding Yoshitsune

②Snatches the flute from Yoshitsune's hands

③STOMPS THE FLUTE TO ASHES ON THE GROUND

④Scold Yoshitsune some more

⑤SMACK YOSHITSUNE'S HEAD

⑥PUNCHES YOSHITSUNE'S FACE

⑦THROWS YOSHITSUNE TO THE GROUND

⑧BEATS A FALLEN YOSHITSUNE WITH HIS BIG BIG STICK

⑨BEATS YOSHITSUNE SOME MORE WITH THE BIG BIG STICK

OMG BENKEI!!!!!!

And the look on Yoshitsune's face when Benkei snatched Shizuka's flute and starts STOMPING ON IT............

.........

OMG that scene would make such a great parody though! All in all, basically Benkei was trying to convince the suspicious man that Yoshitsune really is a yamabushi (and NOT Yoshitsune the outlaw). And by stomping and beating him up, it makes them believe it because there is NO WAY that a servant would even DARE TO IMAGINE beating up their exalted master like that!!!

But Benkei did And they got away.... And once they're away and safe... Benkei just BAWLED HIS EYES OUT LIKE A BABYYYYY OMG seriously he was like on his knees and bawling for forgiveness!!!!!! Ahhhh *pats pats Benkei* What a good servant you truly are... ahhhhh~ that was an awesome scene though... I did read news about it, they covered the shoot and Matsuken made some funny comments about having to beat Takki up!!! *ROFL*... ahhh I wanna see the NG shots!!!

Anyway, seems that in this coming Sunday's episode 48, Fujiwara Hidehira is going to pass away, and so Yoshitsune's one and only protection is gone, and he will end up being hunted down by Hidehira's sons (I believe thats how it goes in the history books that I've read) I read in the TV Pia I just got today too, that Yoshitsune will find out about the murder of his newborn baby son So don't miss it!

Unbelievable... only 2 more episodes of Yoshitsune LEFT!!! Can you believe it???!!! Where did 2005 go? Where did it run off to??? (tries not to think about it)

Drat Yoritomo. I hope that nephew of his haunted his dreams all the time he was shogun....to think, we could have had honest to goodness Yoshitsune descendants running around Japan by now.

YARGH! I have to look for a torrent file of that somewhere. At least if I find one, it will have subtitles, so I can understand the whole sad story...
